The Benn Conger Inn is in Groton, NY and it is at this peaceful, beautiful setting that Meg and John had their wedding reception. A nicer couple would be difficult to find and I was fortunate to be able to work for this couple and family. I also worked with Michael Grace-Martin, the photographer for the day. He was great to work with and I saw him getting loads of great shots.
I arrived early to setup and to have a few spare minutes to just enjoy the beauty of the Inn. The weather was magnificent this day and the tent setting let the gentle breezes flow through making it very comfortable for the dancing that would ensue.
After I made the formal introductions, John and Meg had their first dance to the song “Oh What It Seemed To Be” by Frank Sinatra. A bit later Meg and her Father danced to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong and then John had a dance with his Mother to “Days Like This”, Van Morrison.
Toasts were given by the Father of the Bride, Father of the Groom, Best Man (Brother of the Groom) and Maid of Honor (Sister of the Bride).
There were a couple of really fun surprises such as the acapella group, of which the groom was part of. They serenaded Meg and sounded great. Then the extra special bonus was a perfectly choreographed dance that Meg and her Sister did to “Stop” by the Spice Girls. It was a crowd favorite!
This group of guests knew how to dance and the floor was literally packed all night long right up until the last song was played at 10pm.
Meg and John, you made me feel so welcomed and your kindness was greatly appreciated. Enjoy these photos that I took.

Thank you so much ~ I feel like I was there too! My love always to Meg and John ~ God bless ~ ~ ~ XO XO
