Liz and Scott were married June 4, 2011 and had their wedding reception at the gorgeous Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles, NY. The Sherwood is right across the street from Skaneateles Lake and offers beautiful views of the lake as well as the Inn itself which is just beautiful inside.

This was my first wedding for 2011 and I was quite excited for it because I made a HUGE switch in my equipment this year and couldn’t wait to use it. I made the switch from CD’s to digital and spent the last couple months ripping my CD collection to hard disk. It was a daunting task since I have over 8,000 CD’s. I won’t be ripping all of them, but still, it takes time. The new system works even better than I was imagining and it will make my performaces moving forward even better. I’m so happy about the new equipment.

Liz and Scott danced their first dance together to “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack. Then Scott had a dance with his Mother to “Watchin’ Scotty Grow” by Mack Davis. Open dancing followed and the evening was enjoyed by all.

Thanks Liz and Scott for being such a great couple to work with and I appreciate being given the opportunity to provide the entertainment for your wedding reception. And Scott, thanks for enlightening me to some excellent new music that I had been unfamiliar with!
