Three cheers for the summer of 2010. Hip Hip Hooray! It really has been a phenomenal summer and although it was officially Autumn for Janet and Scott’s wedding, it was close enough. The leaves started changing a little earlier than normal this year, or so it seems, and as a result there was some beautiful color surrounding the beautiful grounds of The Fontainebleau Inn where the wedding reception took place. Such a beautiful place to soak in the gorgeous day.
Janet & Scott had a great crew of professionals working for them during the day… Shai Eynav was the photographer, Michael Erb (that’s me) was the DJ and the caterers were Tina and Kate of Word of Mouth Catering in Trumansburg. All people I’ve worked with many many times over the years are they all provide exemplary service. After a yummy happy hour all the guests gathered under the patio tent for formal introductions and formal dances. Janet & Scott had their first dance to the song “Chariot’s Rise” by Lizzie West (who happens to sound a lot like Natalie Merchant to my ears). Then Janet and her brother and Scott and his mother had a dance to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.
After the formal dances were toasts by the Maid of Honor and Best Man followed by the buffet dinner. Immediately after dinner was the cake cutting and then the rest of the evening was energized dancing.
It was a great wedding to end my wedding season for 2010 and I thank Janet and Scott for trusting me for the entertainment. Enjoy the rest of the photos I took…
