This past Saturday I had the pleasure of entertaining at the Cornell University CNF Holiday Party. CNF stands for Cornell NanoScale Science & Technology Facility. They are partly responsible for doing things like ensuring your cell-phone is no longer the size of a loaf of bread… so I thank them for that.
This is the 2nd year I’ve been asked to provide the entertainment and it is such a pleasure since this is a fun-loving group and the organization of the party is phenomenal. The party took place at The Lakewatch Inn. Nicole and her excellent staff did an outstanding job as usual. Every detail was taken care of and the food and atmosphere was wonderful.
One of the trademarks of this party is the presentation of a gift basket to all department members. This year I was asked to play music as each name was announced and the recipient had to do a little dance on their way up to receive their gift basket. It was quite fun and there were some great “moves” being displayed on the dancefloor.
It was a wonderful evening and I thank the CNF department for letting me be a part of their annual celebration.
Enjoy these photos I took during the event.
