I loved the picture of Schnoodle Owen. He looks like the life of the party! You're right, designer breeds are getting crazier and crazier. A cross between a Terrier and a Bulldog would be terribull.

Grape pie is a very delicious dish and is always fun to have a taste of it in a festival like this. Its great to have the taste of so many pies at a competition like this. What a Great Story!

Never attended the Grape Festival in Naples, NY. However, I can remember my growing up in the Boston area and picking concord grapes off the vines and eating them. That was an experience! Probably can't do it now, due to the insecticides and pesticides most use. What shame. Sorry your Mother-in-law's pie did not win. But as they say - "there's always next year."
