It was another day of spectacular weather in Upstate New York for the wedding of Terrence Corrigan and Kathryn Kranz. The ceremony and reception took place at one of my favorite venues, Six Mile Creek Vineyard in Ithaca, NY.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Six Mile Creek Vineyard primarily because it is where I was married in 2003. Since then, the vineyard has only gotten more beautiful as extensive landscaping has transformed an already beautiful location into one even more so.
Terrence and Kathryn had their ceremony next to the beautiful pond. After the ceremony the guests slowly made their way to the other side of the pond where the big tent was set up. Tina, Kate and staff, from Word of Mouth catering in Trumansburg, NY had a tasty assortment of appetizers waiting. And don’t even get me started talking about the desserts they presented at the conclusion of the meal…oh were they good. Strawberry Rhubarb pie! Homemade ice-cream (Coffee and Vanilla) and the most decadent chocolate balls.
After the meal, it took no time at all for the dance floor to fill. This crowd had dancing on their mind all night long. It makes it so much fun to have guests that love to dance and dance they did.
